BOSTON (AP) — Power outages caused by Tropical Storm Irene have forced the closure of several Massachusetts courthouses.

A spokeswoman for the state court systems says district courts in Attleboro, Stoughton, Wareham, Westborough and Wrentham will be closed all day Monday.

People with emergencies in these jurisdictions are urged to contact their local police.
