WOODS HOLE (CBS) – Hurricane Irene is expected to impact ferry service to and from the islands this weekend.
The Steamship Authority said they’ll provide extra ferry service, for now, to and from Woods Hole to Martha’s Vineyard, in addition to service to and from Hyannis to Nantucket.
Service, though, will likely be suspended Sunday and maybe into Monday.

The Steamship Authority will monitor Irene to determine when to resume service.
