More Allegations Of Abuse Against Camp Good News

BOSTON (CBS) – A 45-year-old woman is suing a Cape Cod summer camp that is already shut down after allegations of sexual abuse.

Cheryl Madden says she was repeatedly molested by a janitor at Camp Good News in Sandwich for three summers beginning in 1973.

It’s allegedly the same camp where Senator Scott Brown says he was abused.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Lana Jones reports

Madden says she refused to go back for a fourth summer.

She admits her son was scheduled to work there this summer before the camp shut down.

Camp Good News released a statement saying there is no merit to the allegations.

The Catholic Church Continuously lies and Cover ups abuse. They Have been Too powerful for Many years ,and exploit Children. Their Churches, Schools, and Hospital Networks have had many Incidents and allegations of abuse.
Caritas Carney Hospital Fired 29 Staff people when It was found out a child was sexually assaulted on the Psychiatric Unit, the staff that got fired ,did not handle the situation appropiately. I say good for Bill Walczak ,The New President Of Caritas Carney Hospitlal for taking appropiate action.

Another brave victim of sex abuse at Camp Good News is to be commended for speaking up and taking action to expose the truth.

Thank you Cheryl Madden, for having the courage to share you pain, and hopefully protect other children from being abused.

We urge anyone, who may have knowledge or been harmed by anyone at Camp Good News, to contact police.
Keep in mind your silence only hurts, and by speaking up there is a chance for healing, exposing the truth, and therefore protecting other children.
