Gresh And Zo: John Lackey's Turnaround
Two months ago there weren't many people who believed in Red Sox starter John Lackey. Some actually termed him "worthless," with his ERA in the sevens and his stuff looking like a little leaguer could hit it.
What a difference seven starts makes. Lackey is 6-1 since the end of June, with his last loss coming July 4th against Toronto. He has won his last six decisions, the longest streak of his career, with a 3.92 ERA in the wins.
Lackey has turned it around and is second on the team with 11 wins. So Gresh & Zo wonder, is Lackey Number-3 starter material for Boston in the postseason?
