U.S. Airways Flight Diverted To Logan Due To Strange Odor

BOSTON (CBS) – A U.S. Airways flight was diverted to Logan Airport on Saturday after crew members complained of a strange order.

Flight 749 from Madrid to Charlotte, North Carolina landed safely at Logan Airport at around 11 a.m. and was taxied to Terminal E. The plane had 195 passengers and nine crew members.

Four of the crew members had complained of a scratchy throat and were transported to Mass. General Hospital.

    I was there and it was worse than that.
    Alarms went off.
    Plane was shaking.
    Flight attendants desperate.
    Calling for help.
    Smoke everywhere on the plane.
    And flight attendants were saying “I do not know if we will make it”
    The pilot said “everything is ok we will land in Boston to check the plane” not true, it was bad.
    One of the cabins was really hot….
    I can keep on and on…
    I was with my 4 year old daughter, and I thought I was going to die.
    I was terrified….I said this is the end…..
