You can trade in your old air conditioners and refrigerators for an energy-efficient upgrade and save up to $150.

The program works on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Of the $2 million allotted for the rebate, about $800,000 is left.

Consumers must apply for the rebates online at Massenergyrebates.com or through a customer service center.

The rebates are available until the money runs out.
