'Fast 14' Project Being Completed On Schedule
BOSTON (CBS) - Governor Patrick checked in with state transportation officials on just how fast the "Fast 14" bridge project is coming along.
Project Manager Ernie Monroe Jr. says nine bridges have been replaced on I-93 north of Boston, and there are five more to go.

He is confident the project is on schedule and will be done before Labor Day.
Besides time, the Governor believes the project is also saving money.
Monroe says that what makes the project so efficient is that the bridges are made off site, and put together like "LEGO" pieces.
