Our Red Sox insider, Sean McAdam, joined Gresh and Roche to talk some Sox.

McAdam spoke with Beckett at the All-Star game after he didn’t pitch because his knee started to bother him. What’s the latest with Josh Beckett and what it may mean going forward?

“On one hand you tend to believe him that they’re airing on the side of caution and it’s no big deal,” McAdam said. “On the other hand the fact that this happened a second time after he left the game last Friday and there is still some inflammation and it’s still not 100% has to be something of a red flag.”

Also, what are the Red Sox looking for as we approach the trade deadline and some names already on the move? That and much more with Sean McAdam from Tampa.
