Verizon Wireless Closing The Door On Unlimited Data Plans

BOSTON (CBS) - Hold on to your wallet.

One of the biggest wireless carriers in New England is dropping one of its most popular data plans.

Verizon Wireless says with more smart phone users downloading data, rates are going up.

The changes will only affect new customers, with current customers continuing to pay the flat fee for unlimited data.

Consumer advocate Edgar Dworsky said he thinks phone bills will be going up, as more of us keep downloading videos and using the internet wirelessly.
