BOSTON (CBS) – At the WBZ Water Cooler this week: There’s a bill on Beacon Hill, that would make Rex Trailer the official state cowboy.

Senator ‘Susan Fargo’ of Lincoln filed the legislation, and pointed to Trailer’s work in teaching children the value of safety and good health, throughout his career. Trailer says his hit show ‘Boomtown’ was all about the kids. In fact, there was one motto on the set, “If it was not something the kids could learn from (they) didn’t do it.”
