Toucher & Rich With Gabe Kapler: Interleague Play & What's Up With Lackey

The Red Sox were not very successful in Pittsburgh against the Pirates in their first series of their NL road trip.

Former Red Sox outfielder, Gabe Kapler spoke with Toucher & Rich about his feeling on interleague play, the controversy of playing Adrian Gonzalez in right field, Andrew Miller's success and what's the deal with John Lackey?

Kevin Youkilis complained about interleague play the other day after loosing 2 of 3 in Pittsburgh. What does Kapler think of interleague play? What does he think of the controversy of playing Adrian Gonzalez in right field?

"I don't think he's more likely to get injured playing right field than he is at first base...Really you can get injured playing any position and you can actually decide not to get hurt playing right field just by being a little bit more ginger out there...I think that issue has been completely overblown," Kapler said.

The guys also discussed what team is at the biggest disadvantage when it comes to interleague play? They also talked about the success of Andrew Miller on the mound.

Will John Lackey be the one to sit once Clay Buchholz returns? Speaking of Lackey why is he struggling?
