Meet The Single Bruins: Some Of Boston's Most Eligible Bachelors
BOSTON (CBS) - They're young. They're single. And here in Boston, they're stars. Bruins players better get used to the attention.
Some of these champs are also the city's most eligible bachelors.
Everywhere they go now, whether it's a walk though their North End neighborhood or a night out at a restaurant, life has changed for Boston's newest champs.
Who are the most eligible bachelors on the B's?
WBZ-TV's Karen Anderson reports.
Many young ladies said they preferred goaltender Tim Thomas, and who wouldn't? He's the Conn Smythe winner, but he's also married.
Others named Patrice Bergeron, Zdeno Chara, or Milan Lucic as potential dates.
How about newly shaved defenseman Andrew Ference? Sorry ladies, Ference is married, but he did offer his opinion about some of his eligible teammates.
"There's only a couple of them. My favorite is Adam McQuaid because he's cool enough to pull off a mullet. That's pretty epic. The guy that gets the most attention is Justin Bieber...uh...Tyler Seguin," said Ference.
So, how has life changed for the single guys on the Bruins?
"Well I don't know if they'd tell the rest of us guys, but they're living it up I'm sure," said Ference. "I'm not a big Facebook guy, but I'm sure they've got a few more friends on there."
