Drug-Sniffing Police K-9 Finds 2 Kilos Of Cocaine During Raynham Traffic Stop

RAYNHAM (CBS) – A traffic stop in Raynham led State Police to a large drug bust on Thursday.

During the stop on Route 24, a drug-sniffing State Police dog named Hondo picked up the scent of cocaine and tracked it to a suitcase in the car.

Troopers found two kilos of cocaine inside.

The driver, Mari Gomez, 42, of New Bedford, along with passengers Enoe Carrasquill, 25 and Jesmiel Guilbe Ortiz, 20, both of Puerto Rico were all charged with drug trafficking and conspiracy.
