Report: Celtics Doc Rivers To Have Throat Surgery
BOSTON (CBS) - Boston Celtics head coach Doc Rivers is set to have throat surgery on Tuesday, The Boston Herald reports.

The surgery will be to remove a non-cancerous growth from Rivers' throat. Back in October, the Celtics coach had tests to determine if lesions on his throat were cancerous. The tests came back negative.

The Herald is reporting Doc will not be able to talk for two weeks.
