ARLINGTON (CBS) — A former Arlington resident is under arrest and charged with threatening to kill two Arlington police officers.

Christopher Loder, 40, now lives in Palermo, Maine. He was arrested a friend’s home in Arlington on Tuesday.

WBZ-TV’s Jonathan Elias reports.

Investigators say Loder called Arlington police Saturday and said he was going to beat up two officers and bring a group of military friends and shoot the officers with an AK-47 and an AR-15.

Loder is charged with threatening to commit a crime. He is being held at Arlington police headquarters and expected to face the charges at Cambridge District Court.

    Chris was born and raised in MA! He came to Maine to get his life together and he would have gotten his life together if he hadn’t gotten involved with the girlfriend and had stayed away from his so called friends there. Will, what do you do for a living? By the way weren’t you with him the last time he was arrested ?

    if he was so trying to get his life together then why was he making drunkin phone calls to the arlington police station? he will never learn, i dont believe he should do time for this but get some mental help. trust me i know him very well. # 1 baby momma.
