ARLINGTON (CBS) — A former Arlington resident is under arrest and charged with threatening to kill two Arlington police officers.

Christopher Loder, 40, now lives in Palermo, Maine. He was arrested a friend’s home in Arlington on Tuesday.

WBZ-TV’s Jonathan Elias reports.

Investigators say Loder called Arlington police Saturday and said he was going to beat up two officers and bring a group of military friends and shoot the officers with an AK-47 and an AR-15.

Loder is charged with threatening to commit a crime. He is being held at Arlington police headquarters and expected to face the charges at Cambridge District Court.
