HULL (CBS) – Hull police and the Plymouth County district attorney’s office have identified the body of a young woman found along Nantasket Beach.

A woman walking the beach along X Street found the body in the surf just after 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Police said the body is 19-year-0ld Violet Nicholson of Hull.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Kim Tunnicliffe reports.

Jim Kirklund was having dinner at his friend’s beach house and watched as authorities removed the body from the water’s edge.

“There was somebody standing over the body and they’re now getting it out of the seaweed. You could see this body in blue jeans. It looks like the blue jeans have been ripped or cut,” said Kirkland.

Authorities said there were no visible signs of trauma. An autopsy was conducted on Sunday.

    Wow that is so sad. Hull police ae not the brightest bulbs in the pack. Hopefully they will be able to solve this.

    ZAGWEE, are you from Hull, LOL? I wonder if there is any connection between this woman and the little boy found in Maine. I know it is quite some distance however it is still possible.
