BOSTON (CBS) — A New York company will start running one of Boston’s best-known landmarks.

A group of New York investors are about to take over the leasing duties for Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

Ashkenazy Acquisition is buying the rights from General Growth, which has run Quincy, North and South Markets for four years.

Mayor Menino has not been a fan of General Growth over the years complaining that they have pushed out local businesses in favor of national retailers.
