BOSTON (CBS) – The Philadelphia Flyers have chosen Brian Boucher as their Game 2 goalie against the Boston Bruins, coach Peter Laviolette said on Monday.
Boucher also got the start in Game 1, but was pulled in the second period after allowing five goals on 23 shots in the Bruins 7-3 victory.
Goaltending has been a problem for the Flyers all season long, and has continued into the playoffs. Rookie Sergei Bobrovsky replaced Boucher on Saturday and allowed two goals on 10 shots.
Philadelphia used two goalies in three of their seven first round games against Buffalo.
