REVERE (CBS) – A Revere police officer accused of taking a $200 bribe and then lying about it to the FBI has been arrested.
According to the FBI, photos taken in January show Officer Todd Randall taking the money while on duty, driving a marked cruiser, and in uniform.
WBZ-TV’s Ken MacLeod reports.
Randall apparently met with a person cooperating with the FBI recently and agreed to help stop a pending criminal case in Chelsea District Court in return for cash. He was caught on tape at a house in Everett, which was wired for video and sound by the FBI’s Public Corruption Unit.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Lana Jones reports.
Randall was in court Tuesday on one count of lying to federal agents.

Ha ha, A cop taking a bribe? I bet the DA’s office makes a special deal to et this guy off. Cops are the ultimate criminal and they get away with murder. Enough said!

Chelsea Court has a nice new building but it’s still the Chelsea Court.
At one time they were considering naming the Joe Bangs and Bob Spencer Court house.

Remember when the Revere Police were filmed ripping off the CVS but got off because CVS didn’t tell them that they had a camera system and that wasn’t fair?
This has always been a very unusual part of the world.
