UMass Amherst Faculty Votes To Ban Tobacco, Smoking Outdoor

AMHERST (CBS) - The UMass Amherst faculty senate has passed a resolution that bans the use of any tobacco products on campus, starting in July of 2013.

Smoking is already banned on campus.

The new resolution is for a complete ban on all tobacco products and it bans smoking in outdoor areas as well.

Some students say the new rules go too far.
