BOSTON (CBS) – After beating the New York Islanders 3-2 at the TD Garden Wednesday night, the Bruins are ready for some charitable grooming on Thursday.

98.5 The Sports Hub, the Bruins Foundation, and Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center are teaming up for the fourth Annual “Cuts for a Cause” on Thursday, hosted by Fred Toucher and Rich Shertenlieb of the Toucher & Rich show. It all takes place at Ned Devine’s in Fanuil Hall.

Shawn Thornton and 15 of his teammates (along with Toucher and Rich) will have their heads shaved by auction winners, with all the proceeds going to the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center’s “Child Life Services Activities”, “Shooting Stars” and “Very Important Brothers and Sisters” programs.

Last year’s “Cuts for a Cause” raised $25,000 for Mass General Hospital’s Children’s HOPE program.
