Lackey To Sit As Red Sox Look To Snap 10-Game Skid

BOSTON (CBS) - The Red Sox will look to snap a 10-game spring losing streak against the Blue Jays on Monday without John Lackey on the mound.

Inclement weather will keep the Red Sox number-two starter from the mound Monday afternoon, with the team hoping Lackey can throw against the Minor league team at Fort Myers. The weather could also dampen those plans.

This was Lackey's final scheduled start of the spring before he gets the ball in the second game of the regular season against the Texas Rangers on Saturday.
