World Cup Champs Set To Play At Gillette Stadium
BOSTON (CBS) - The U.S. Soccer Federation announced Friday the U.S. Men's National Team will host defending FIFA World Cup Champion and number-one ranked Spain at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, June 4 at 4:30 p.m.
The match will be the U.S.' 12th appearance at Gillette Stadium, where they have posted an impressive 9-1-2 record. The U.S. has recorded eight shutouts at Gillette, outscoring opponents 28-6.
The U.S. and Spain have met four times, with Spain holding a 3-1-0 edge.
U.S. Soccer will announce ticket information in the near future.
