BPD Commissioner: More Snow Means Less Crime
BOSTON (CBS) - Crime in Boston is down in recent months and Mother Nature may be the reason.

"There's no question that weather has played a role in the last few months. It's very difficult to get around and people aren't outside," Commissioner Ed Davis told WBZ NewsRadio Tuesday.

Davis also credits a number of other factors for the decline. He says some of it has to do with the department's strategy of focusing on particular known criminals.
Davis says they expect to see a rise in crime as the weather gets warmer. Officers will continue to implement their current strategies.
