Had the privilege to view the  Boston Flower and Garden Show this evening…beautiful sight that will surely jumpstart you into Spring.  If you can’t get down to the event at the Seaport World Trade Center then the upcoming several days will get you a nice taste of Spring.

This begins with tomorrow’s rainy weather…rain moves in by mid-morning and won’t exit until mid to late afternoon.  We aren’t looking at inches of rain but a healthy0.5″…a pretty decent soaking.  High pressure will nose in behind this system from the SE and SW winds will take over for a couple of days. This will shoot temps up close to 60 on Thursday.  Friday is still up in the air…the timing of the front is in question with the EURO bringing it through in the morning and the GFS in the evening.  So, 60 is likely with 60+ very possible if the slower solution verifies.

The atmosphere will be in cool down mode through the weekend but fair skies will win out.

thanks for the update Todd…… Today was the day that transitioned me into spring. There are some new blades of green grass starting to pop up on our lawn and the late evening light is helping.

I’m curious to see what happens Friday. As I recall last spring and summer, the cold fronts and the cold air abehind them always seemed to be several hours later and a bit weaker in strength than generally expected. So, it will be interesting to see the temps Friday and the timing of the cooler air.
