AVON (CBS) – The rain Monday was heavy enough to bring down another roof in Avon, the eighth there so far this winter.

Part of the roof of an old shoe factory caved in.

The building is vacant, and no one was hurt.

The collapse triggered a gas leak that forced police to temporarily close down a stretch of Route 28.
