An e-mail sent out by House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi said that on March 8, Obama will join Democratic leaders for dinner in Boston.

The event is planned for the Museum of Fine Arts.

Pelosi described the event as “an unforgettable evening with President Obama and leading Democrats from across America” and said it will show how strongly Democrats support President Obama’s efforts to invest in America’s future.

Pelosi also faulted Republicans for pushing what she called a divisive agenda that will compromise the economic security of the middle class.

The e-mail also includes a solicitation for $5 or more for a chance to win a trip to the Boston event and join her at the dinner.

I think Mr. President Barak Obama is doing all that he can to repair damaged services that’s been done to this country over a long haul. I don’t think it’s fair to leave him hanging in the balance. To ill-label him before affording him the opportunity to at least complete his visionary project of reparations to the country his cabinet has commenced. Come on, America, aren’t we more faithful , honorable & prudent than that. Charles L. Jackson
