BOSTON (CBS) — Three people were arrested Wednesday night after a high-speed chase that started in Boston and ended in Andover.
Police say they tried stopping a driver in Roxbury Wednesday evening after his car nearly hit several people, but he took off.
He drove onto I93 North reaching speeds of 100 miles per hour.
In Andover the man, later identified as Eduardo Rodriguez, ran into stop sticks that cops had put out; he then took off running.
A state police helicopter spotted him in the woods and officers arrested him.
Two passengers who stayed in the car were also arrested.
Police say the car they were in was a rental. Rodriguez is facing charges of operating to endanger, failure to stop, and speeding. No word on what charges his passengers face.
