Southboro police searched this car after an old grenade was found in it Wednesday.
SOUTHBORO (CBS) – Police found a hand grenade inside a car during a traffic stop in Southboro Wednesday morning.
The State Police Bomb Squad was called in to examine the device after the car was stopped on Central Street around 11 a.m.
They say it was old, hollowed out and not active.
It’s not clear yet why the driver had it.
