CAMBRIDGE (CBS) – Snow put the brakes on the parade, but Julianne Moore was still honored as Woman of the Year by Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals Group.
Moore posed for photos with the Hasty Pudding student cast Thursday afternoon, with the traditional raucous roast and dinner following.
The Hasty Pudding Theatricals Group is the oldest undergraduate drama club in the U.S.
The society calls Moore “an actress of exceptional range” who has “delievered outstanding work”. Some of her female peers honored in previous years include Meryl Streep, Katharine Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Julia Roberts.
Comedian Jay Leno has been named the Hasty Pudding Man of the Year, and will be honored on February 4th.
