Driver Avoids Animal, Hits House

LACONIA, N.H. (AP) – Police in Laconia, N.H., say a woman who swerved her car to avoid an animal ended up crashing into a living room window.

Police said 49-year-old Diane Bedford said the animal ran out in front of her car near 11 p.m. Friday, causing her to lose control. Her car went over a snowbank and crashed through the picture window, into the living room of a neighbor on her street.

No one was hurt.

This is why you slow down. I’m glad that she made the choice she did and no one was hurt. The house can be fixed. The car can be fixed. Animals are out there. Slow down and drive with care. You shouldn’t lose control of the car. People do because they aren’t paying enough attention and driving too fast for the roads.
