Patriots Make Late Roster Move
FOXBORO (CBS) -- The Pats have signed Tony Carter from the practice squad and in doing so they let go of cornerback Chevis Jackson.
This looks like a situation that Carter has been with the team and understands the system and they don't think, after four practices Jackson is ready to contribute on game day.
Now if Jackson clears waivers it would not be a surprise to see him come back to the Pats. They have a need at corner because of recent nagging injuries, Devin McCourty (rib), Kyle Arrington (elbow) and Darius Butler (thigh).
