Felger and Massarotti continued the day talking about HBO’s 24/7 show that is covering the Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals and their road to the Winter Classic.  Would you rather Julien’s track record or the track record of Dan Bylsma, the Penguins coach?

The guys moved on the Bruins struggles.  Can Julien be blamed solely for the struggles?  Is Cam Neely blaming Julien for Tyler Seguin’s healthy scratch the other night?  Are the Bruins capable of being a strong offensive team?

  1. Ian Rogers says:

I think the point is that Julien isn’t CAPABLE of doing anything to shake things up. That’s his track record…stay the course. The guy is a moron and needs to be fired. I could list a hundred reasons why, but the most important one is that think the guys in that locker room are NOT motivated by anything he says or does. And who could blame them? He shows ZERO emotion, he doesn’t stick up for his players (the Lucic penalty in the game against the Sabres), he doesn’t emphasize the players sticking up for each other (Scott Walker, Matt Cooke, Mike Richards, TJ Oshie, Brandon Dubinsky, Chris Neil, etc.) All of those players have taken cheap shots OR injured a Bruins player with ZERO reprecussions…not even an angry face wash. The players on this team are not playing for their coach or for each other at this point, and until a coaching change is made, I don’t see it happening any time soon!
