Health Care Costs Eating School Budgets

BOSTON (CBS) -- Health care costs are eating away at school budgets, according to a new report.

The report looked at the Education Reform Act of 1993 and found that costs have risen so dramatically that they're engulfing school funding.

The problem is the cost of health care for school employees has risen dramatically over the past decade or so.

The study was done by one of the original creators of the Education Reform Act.

WBZ News Radio's Karen Twomey talks with Linda Noonan, the executive director of the Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education.
