Winter’s on its way, and we’re already wondering how much snow that means!  Think you know how much we’ll get? Put your guess to the test in the 2010-2011 WBZ Snowfall Contest!

Guess the total inches of snow fall at Boston’s Logan Airport for the entire 2010-2011 winter season, and you could win a Season Ski Pass! Enter now to win a season ski pass for the 2011-2012 season at Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, MA.

Average Annual Boston Snowfall is 42.2″

The Snowiest winter on record was 1995-96 with 107.5″

The Last La Nina Winter was 2007-2008. Boston received 51.2″

Contest Rules

(a) The WBZ 2010-2011 Snowfall Contest will begin on Thursday November 11th, 2010 at 12:00am and ends on Friday December 31st, 2010 at 11:59pm. Contest is sponsored by WBZ.

(b) Predictions must be made out to the tenth of an inch—Example: 87.6 Inches.

(c) One entry per person.

    Ive been hearing rumors that there might be a blockbuster snow storm around the middle of next week…..do you see any possibility of this in the models.

      Dave, like JJ I would not say blockbuster. At this stage, anything could happen. not enugh to go on until later this week.

    Dave I would not go as far to say blockbuster but lets just say early next week has the POTENTIAL to deliver some snowfall for Southern New England.

    The ocean warmth is too widespread. This will NOT be a snowmaker for Boston
