A group of Latino students from an educational program at UMass Boston called ALERTA recently received a special recognition from the first lady Michelle Obama. With the help of ALERTA and other great programs like TAG and PANAS at UMass, Latinos in the Boston area are getting an advanced education and an opportunity to have a much more promising future!
