Report: Researchers Failed To Address BU Biolab Safety Issues
BOSTON (CBS) -- The National Research Council released a report saying government researchers failed to address basic safety issues at Boston University's bio-lab facility.
What would happen if something went wrong as researchers at the lab dealt with some of the world's most lethal viruses?
People in the South End are concerned. "I would think we are very scared, especially if they have not done their homework," one man told WBZ News Radio's Mark Katic.

However, some residents trust all safety concerns will be addressed before the facility opens. "There are many checks and balances that they have to go through," one woman said.
To their credit, even Boston University officials' questions have to be answered before the research lab can begin their work.
