The three suspects, Alexander Gallett, his girlfriend Yamily Mathurin, and Michel St. Jean were indicted Tuesday by a grand jury for first degree murder.

During their arraignment on Wednesday, prosecutors said Nova was stabbed 16 times and that one of the suspects shouted "finish him!" as the other two attacked Nova.

The suspects also allegedly turned Nova's pockets inside out and stole 143 dollars from him as he lay dying.

The three were also indicted on charges of armed robbery for stealing his cash, car, and the food he brought them and breaking and entering for gaining unlawful access to an apartment on Hyde Park Ave, where the murder took place.

All three suspects remain behind bars pending trial.
