The deadline is approaching for Massachusetts residents wishing to vote in the Nov. 2 election.
Massachusetts Secretary of State William Galvin said Wednesday is the last day for residents to register to vote. Staff from the state elections division are scheduled to be at Boston’s North Station Wednesday until 8 p.m. to help commuters register. Local election offices also will be open until 8 p.m.
A number of state seats are up for election Nov. 2, including governor, attorney general and state treasurer. Voters also will decide three ballot questions on alcohol taxes, low-incoming housing permits and reducing the sales tax rate.
