The Patriots have placed WR Torry Holt on injured reserve due to a knee injury, ending his season, and possibly his career. Multiple sources are reporting the news out of Foxboro. Holt was not a lock to make the final roster.
Holt, 34, played 11 seasons in the NFL, 10 with the Rams and last year with the Jaguars. He has 920 career receptions for 13,382 yards, and 74 touchdowns.
