Cars strike buildings in Newton, Stoneham
Two incidents the same day involving vehicles striking buildings.
It was a wild scene off Beacon Street in Newton Wednesday when a man, described in his 70's or 80's, crashed into a parked car outside Barry's Deli.
The force of the parked car pushed that vehicle into a pedestrian, then into the building.
The pedestrian was conscious and taken away for unknown injuries.
Deli co-owner Lisa Rodman says the building suffered no structural damage.
Earlier a similar incident in Stoneham, where a woman test driving a new car crashed it into a bakeryon Main Street.
Michael D'Andrea is co-owner of Colarusso's Bakery says there were no customers in the bakery at the time, but he says an employee behind the counter was pretty shaken up.
