A privacy group is suing the department of homeland security, arguing that images produced by the scanners  are similar to a strip search.

    These scanners are dangerous! The privacy issue is secondary. The “soft” x-rays used can cause DNA damage leading to skin and other cancers. What about little children and pregnant women? People ought to be more upset about the harm these things cause than the fact that someone is looking at them.
