An Error of Omission (Perhaps Intentional)

     I'm not sure this omission was intentional or not, but either way, in my exuberance to applaud the City of Boston and just about everything regarding the Fourth Of July celebration on the Esplanade, I left out (or intentionally omitted) one key player:    For the second time (I think) the national host for the Boston presentation was Craig Ferguson.

     Now, I wanted to keep my posting on the 4th celebration positive, but that would have been impossible had I included a comment on the national host for the event.   Mr. Ferguson, I don't want to suggest you s___ at that job, but you really did, this year in particular, and I do hope David Mugar and the organizers of the 2011 celebration have already started to find a replacement.  I don't like the word and I won't use it, but Craig, you really do s____ as host for the event.

     Not as bad as some others, i.e. Dr. Phil, who may have been the worst dunderhead ever, and I do understand you're a big star...but Craig Ferguson, do us all a favor and stick to your standup act.  As for America's birthday party, please quietly sit it out.
