bruins washington Bruins Fall to Caps in OTThe Bruins lost to the Washington Capitals 3-2 in overtime Monday night at the Verizon Center in DC. Patrice Bergeron had a goal and an assist for Boston. Tuukka Rask made 27 saves.

With the point the B’s move into sole possession of 7th place in the Eastern Conference, 1 point ahead of the Flyers. They are also only 1 point back of Montreal for 6th.

The Bruins get back on the ice Thursday night at home against the Buffalo Sabres. You can catch all the action on 98.5 The Sports Hub, coverage starts with the Dunkin Donuts Bruins pre game show at 6:30pm.

    Dont blame Wideman, this was his best game of the year. He figured into both goals, played a ton of minutes because of the injuries, and helped keep the caps off the board……..and lost the game for the Bruins.
