Family, Including Infant, Rescued After Car Plunges Into Water Along I-495 In Littleton

LITTLETON (CBS) – A family, including an infant, was uninjured after their car plunged into water along Interstate 495 in Littleton.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. A person was flagging down cars in I-495 South.

When firefighters and police arrived, they learned a man and his family had lost control of their vehicle and crashed into Beaverbrook Pond.

Firefighters were able to remove everyone from car and none appeared to be injured. They were taken to an area hospital for evaluation.
