Driver Dies After Head-On Crash With Tractor-Trailer In Bourne
BOURNE (CBS) -- A woman died after a head-on crash involving a tractor-trailer in Bourne on Sunday. Police said the victim was driving a 2019 Nissan Sentra.
Route 6A at Sandwich Road was closed in both directions between the Bourne and Sagamore Bridge around 4:30 p.m. Traffic was detoured to Scenic Highway.
Police said an initial investigation revealed the Nissan crossed over the centerline and collided with the truck.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt.
No other vehicles were involved.
Bourne Police and Massachusetts State Police are still investigating.
