CDC Eases COVID Guidelines For Summer Camps

BOSTON (CBS) - The Centers for Disease Control is easing the guidance for summer camps.

Staff and campers who are fully vaccinated do not need to wear masks or stay 6 feet apart.

While states can still set their own requirements, the CDC is still recommended that unvaccinated children wear masks when they are inside or social distancing isn't possible.

In April, the CDC recommended that people should get vaccinated, but everyone should wear masks and distance would still be necessary.
