Vice President Kamala Harris Visits Plymouth And Concord, New Hampshire

CONCORD, NH (CBS) - Vice president Kamala Harris was in New England Friday selling the president's infrastructure plan.

The vice president arrived at Laconia Municipal Airport where Governor Chris Sununu and Senator Maggie Hassan were standing by to greet her.

She visited the New Hampshire Electric Co-Op office in Plymouth, participated in a listening session and emphasized the importance of broadband access, particularly in rural parts of the country as part of the Biden Administration's American Rescue Plan.

"We all have to participate in making sure everyone has the basic services that are necessary to raise their families, participate in society and be productive and economically strong," Harris said.

Harris also toured an IBEW office in Concord before heading back to Washington.
