BOSTON (CBS) – The exit re-numbering project in Massachusetts is getting closer to the finish line.

On Sunday, crews plan to begin replacing exit signs on Interstate 95, starting at the New Hampshire border and making their way to the Rhode Island border.

MassDOT said once all the exits on I-95 have been replaced, they’ll move to I-93.

But a note for drivers – exits 1-12 on the expressway will not need to change.
