STOCKBRIDGE (CBS) – A Hinsdale man hauled in a massive brown trout while ice fishing on Sunday in Stockbridge.

The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife shared a photo Wednesday of Jamie Pollard with a fish they described as “incredible.”

The fish, which weighed in at 15 pounds, 13 ounces, was caught at Stockbridge Bowl. The water has been stocked with brown trout at least 18 inches long in recent years.

“We’re extremely proud of the awesome fish our hatcheries and district staff put out each year. Keep sharing your catches with us this winter!” the department posted.

After catching the fish, Pollard brought it to the Onota Boat Livery in Pittsfield Sunday to confirm its weigh. He also submitted an affidavit to MassWildlife’s Freshwater Sportfish Awards Program.
